Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN in July 2021, as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is in charge of covering all things from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Kristin is the mother of two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. While there, she also covered two presidential impeachment trials, the 2020 presdiential campaign, and two administration's efforts to contain the pandemic of coronavirus. Her extensive travels with the Vice President and the President included an exclusive trip to Afghanistan, which she took along with Donald Trump. Kristin worked her way through the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before being hired by the CBS network. Kristin was the recipient of the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as an CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. Kristin utilized her knowledge in the field to create Field Mouse Films. The company was a specialist in documentary films and was a favorite of corporate clients such as Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned a bachelors of Science in Journalism from Boston University. The couple's husband and daughter live in Washington, D.C.
